I promise to stop ranting about Liverpool but it’s was such a great trip that I must share it!

So first timers in Liverpool, if you are there for travel or work here is some great things you might want to know!

  1. Stay near the water front. There are so many beautiful and budget friendly hotels that are on the water front! Also that are walking distance to a variety of restaurants and bars!
  2. Museums are mainly free besides the Beetles museum, you will be paying a steaming rate for that! If your a fan go for it, but if not, run! There are so many fun things to see for free like the Slavery museum.
  3. Food and drinks society. Liverpool’s know how to party. The best thing is they are all walking distances. Perfect for the aftermeeting dinner, drinks and clubbing scene!
  4. Bakery. Rough Hand Made is one of the best bakery’s I have stumbled on. It’s authentic family run kitchen with mouthwatering options it’s just what I need! I did speak to them to open one in Edinburgh. But seems they are only in Liverpool! Rude.
  5. Photogenic city. The architecture is breathtaking and unbelievable.

There are numerous things to see and do when you are in Liverpool as you can see!

PM me if you want an on-site on other ideas to do and see xoxo

Vegan Pizza

While exploring this lovely city and most who know I’m such a foodie, I was lucky to stumble on an amazing vegan pizza place.

As I am not vegan I did not indulge in the beautiful variety they offered for freshly made vegan pizzas, what I did do was eat a slice of pizza with the most meat on it. The best thing about Santa Maluco Rodizio Pizzeria & Cocktail Bar is its actually serves a slice option instead of a whole pizza. So perfect for those indecisive people who do not know what they want or ones trying to watch their dress size! Also they have the cutest backdrop of Rio and comfy window seats perfect for snuggling up on date night x

Bridal dress – Liverpool

I stumbled on this beautiful wedding dress store who made me feel very welcome. Being located in a breathe taking building, Wed2B provides a variety of dresses for each special bride. With a range of vibrant colours for your brides maids and flower girls this store is not to be missed.

Ps. Thank you ladies for allowing me to take the photos and trying to get me to try on a dress! Maybe another day 🤣

Muay Thai Grand Prix

Back in London for the best event of the season Muay Thai Grand Prix hosted in O2 Indigo. Amazing venue with great facilities perfect for those award evening, concerts, graduation day and fighting events.

If you ever have the possibility to attend a fight I recommend it. Not only is it exciting, the fighters are all so genuine and can party like there is not tomorrow!

Some photos of the night and of the best people I have ever met who are dear to me.

Liverpool – Slug and Lettuce

What an amazing city! The people, the buildings, the culture and the Beetles!

Liverpool was a surprise every time I go there. Now feeling horribly hungover, the events of my visit was unbelievable.

One place in particular was the Slug and Lettuce. Huge spaces to hold private events and dinners perfect for any occasion! Cute pods for that Instagram worthy shots! Specially for those hen nights or afternoon teas!

Christmas is coming!

Now only a few weeks away, Christmas is now what’s on everyone’s agenda!

If you haven’t got a location or theme for your event you better get started!

Best thing to look for when selecting a venue is the packages they offer. I spoke about this previously in October. When selecting a christmas package do take into consideration of what you are looking to achieve. Is it exclusive use of the venue? Or it just shared party? How many guests are attending? Are drinks included? Lunch or dinner?

Hint: If you choose a lunch Christmas party, the rate is normally MUCH lower sometimes 40% off the dinner package rate in some places! Then to continue festivities you can go to a pub or bar for more drinks!

Mary of Guise Barge

Yesterday I attended an event (checkout yesterdays post) which was located in Leith on Mary of Guise Barge. Not only was it a surprise on how high tech this barge was, but the located in The Shore gave an amazing backdrop perfect for a drinks reception for any occasion.

Some photos of the boat and its view below.
